Magic Carpet on its way to Fairfield Hospital in Bury
NORFOX loved this project because it brings magic into the lives of the young inpatients of the Hope and Horizon wards at The Fairfield.
NORFOX contributed to help land this award winning specialist, Interactive projector system to provide this mental health ward and its inpatients aged 13 to 18 with a huge range of mental, physical, social and therapeutic benefits.
Admission to the ward can be a frightening experience as carers and parents are unable to stay with their children and this can have a profound effect on them.
This interactive system downloads motion responsive games and activities onto walls, ceilings, beds and even wheelchair trays adjusting to the needs of the individual.
It also provides sensory stimulation via seascapes and forests, creating vital therapy to assist in patients' treatments.
We are very pleased to be able to be part of making this happen and wish The Pennine Care Charity and Fairfield Hospital a very fast and successful landing with this wonderful project.
