Stephanie goes for Amstel Gold to donate to Blocks in Salford
NORFOX Trustee Stephanie Mullenger took part in a sponsored bid to achieve 100km of the gruelling cycling course in the Amstel Gold Sportiv this Summer and made The Blocks Foundation in Salford the beneficiary of the £2,500 she raised through her contacts, friends and family
It was no mean achievement as 300km of her ride was uphill climbing.
She did the NORFOX Challenge to help The Blocks Foundation in Salford's Mentoring project for children at primary and junior schools and in particular a 'Place Based' project in Walkden and Little Hulton.
By focussing on the top end of primary the project aims to identify and then support a child's needs much earlier than within a teenage programme.
Her contribution to Blocks makes that one of our 2023 charities going forward to our Xmas lunch on 7th December this year when we hope to achieve our 20 year target of £350,000.
