The Northern Powerhouse Boxing Academy CIC, Hebden Bridge and Area
The only boxing club in the UK run by women ...and in a year when we have two boxing clubs in the Ring for funding! Another first for NORFOX as we have never donated to either Hebden Bridge or Moss Side.
But we are now.
The Academy prioritises its services to women and girls offering some 'women only' sessions but has no gender requirements for general participation
It aims to bring the benefits of boxing jnto the wider community.
Another objective is to provide a safe space free from stereotyping and expectations for anyone in the community from 10 to 39 so they can confidently train and progress to their full potential and receive Olympic style boxing coaching. Or just exercise in a safe and inclusive environment.
All the boxing coaches are England Boxing trained and registered.
They take Boxing into schools, social services and community groups.
All NORFOX could say is 'YES TO THE FUNDING', And 'KNOCK OUT' !!!!!!!!
